Arts and crafts ideas for Halloween

from:

If you are looking for some great arts and crafts ideas for Halloween, you have a whole lot of places you can go to look. Of course, the Internet is the best place to start. The World Wide Web is just brimming with tons and tons of arts and crafts ideas for Halloween. Space in this article prevents us from listing too many, but we sure can get you started with a couple of our favorite arts and crafts ideas for Halloween.

Halloween is all about scary, eerie, and fun decorations. Here is one of the great arts and crafts ideas for Halloween that we found. If you have bushes in front of your house, this decoration might just make you the talk of the neighborhood. First, take a plain white sheet. The size will depend on the size of your bushes. Fold the sheet in half and place newspaper inside the fold. Use either a black permanent magic marker or black fabric paint to make a ghost face on the front of your sheet. When it’s dry, take and place it around your bush and secure it in the back tightly with clothespins.

Another one of our arts and crafts ideas for Halloween can also make the outside of your house look very scary and very festive. Take an ordinary brown lunch bag and paint it orange. Use scissors or an X-acto knife to cut out a scary pumpkin face. Fill the bottom with about ½” of sand and submerge a tea light candle or votive candle in the bottom. Make several of these luminaries to line your walkway on trick or treat night.

For another example of arts and crafts ideas for Halloween, why not make a fun garland of pumpkins or ghosts to drape around your home? All you need is some orange construction paper (for pumpkins) or white construction paper (for ghosts). Take a pencil and free-hand draw a ghost or a pumpkin on the paper. When you draw the figure, leave a tab at the top because you will be folding the tab over the string to secure it. Take a black magic marker and draw on a scary or funny face of your figure and then cut them out of the paper. Make several of these so that you can make your garland long. Fold over the tab and place the string by the fold. You can then secure the figures with tape, glue, or staples. Use green string for a pumpkin garland and black string for a ghost garland and you are all ready to go.

There are so many arts and crafts ideas for Halloween on the Internet, but there are even more in your head if you really think about it. Use your creativity and then have fun!

The Weirdest Things Occupy Protesters Get Arrested For

Occupy Wall Street protesters get arrested a lot, and for many different charges. Sometimes those charges are just plain silly. Most recently, a video's been circulating of a guy in Lansing, Michigan getting taken into custody for violating an obscure law against wearing a mask. Oddly, it's not even the first time that same charge has been used to take occupiers into custody. The Twitter stream ...
