Halloween crafts for kids
from:One of the greatest things about making crafts is that many can be made by children, and when you want to find Halloween crafts for kids, the choices are endless and limited only by your imagination and know-how. It is easy to find tons of Halloween crafts for kids on the Internet. We would like to give you a couple of ideas, though, to get you started.
We absolutely LOVE fun foam that you can find in most crafting stores and department stores. Buy several pieces of fun foam in different colors. We recommend orange, black, green, and white. Cut out some ovals and circles from the fun foam. Look on the Internet for patterns you can print out of Halloween images such as skeletons, black cats, witches, and bats. You may have to shrink the patterns. Then cut them out of the fun foam and glue the shapes onto the shapes. Punch a hole in the top of the ornament and tie a string through so that you can hang the ornaments everywhere you can imagine.
One of the cutest and easiest Halloween crafts for kids that we found just involves some orange construction paper and some scissors. Have your child draw a pumpkin face on the construction paper and cut it out. Leave the construction paper square because then, you can tape the pages to a window in your home and light from behind to make scary faces appear in your windows!
Another of the cute Halloween crafts for kids that we found will most likely make you the talk of the neighborhood. If you have bushes around your house, this is a great craft for you and the kids to work on together. First, take a white bed sheet and fold it in half. Place some newspapers in between the fold and use some black craft paint or a black permanent marker to draw a ghost face on the front of the sheet. You can make it funny and whimsical or scary its all up to you! Take and drape the sheet over your bushes and use clothespins to secure it tightly around the bush in the back.
Finally, if your child can use glue, they can do this craft. Now, it cant be hot glue just plain old white school glue. Take a black or dark candle and supply your child with candied corn, fruit gummies, and beads or sequins. Let them glue these all over the candle and decorate your house.
There are many, many Halloween crafts for kids that you and your child or children can make. Plus, when you use these Halloween crafts for kids to decorate your house for this fun holiday, your kids can proudly say I made that!
