Halloween paper crafts for kids

from:

One of the things that teachers love the most about craft time is making crafts out of paper, and you can find all kinds of halloween paper crafts for kids when you use your imagination. If you can use construction paper or even just plain old copy paper, it takes a lot of the expense out of crafting and makes halloween paper crafts for kids a ball with some great results. For example, check out a couple of these halloween paper crafts for kids that we found.

You can make a cool pumpkin lantern out of some simple construction paper and everyday tools like scissors and glue. First, take a piece of construction paper and fold it in half on the short side. Use a ruler to measure 2 inches in from the open edge. Then draw an 18 inch line across the paper. After that, draw lines 1 inch apart between the fold of the paper and the 18” line. Take a pair of scissors and cut the shorter lines from the folded edge of the paper and stopping at the line.

Once you have the strips cut, unfold the paper and bend the paper into a cylinder. Paste the sides together. Make a handle for the lantern, cut a 1 ½ inch by 12 inch strip from green construction paper. Staple the paper in an arc from the top of the lantern. Make eyes, nose, and mouth using bits of red, yellow, and black construction paper and your child’s imagination. Display with pride!

Another one of the halloween paper crafts for kids you can try, this writer has done herself. It is so much fun and gives you the chance to be extremely creative. It is simple and fun to be so simple yet so complicated as well. First, you should get the image of a cobweb in your head. Remember the intricacies that the spider puts into its work. Start with a piece of black construction paper. Take some regular white glue and mimic the web. Start by making intersecting lines and then drawing curved lines in between them. Be creative and make this your own. Then sprinkle some gold glitter on your web and let dry overnight. It is utterly beautiful!

Halloween paper crafts for kids are fun and cheap to make. Whether you want to just cut out a ghost from a piece of white paper or make an elaborate pumpkin window peek, it doesn’t matter. Just have fun and be as creative as you’ll let yourself be. Which should be extremely creative because when you are making Halloween paper crafts for kids, you’ll want them to learn from you which is most important of all!
