You can make a cool pumpkin lantern out of some simple construction paper and everyday tools like scissors and glue. First, take a piece of construction paper and fold it in half on the short side. Use a ruler to measure 2 inches in from the open edge. Then draw an 18 inch line across the paper. After that, draw lines 1 inch apart between the fold of the paper and the 18” line. Take a pair of scissors and cut the shorter lines from the folded edge of the paper and stopping at the line.
Once you have the strips cut, unfold the paper and bend the paper into a cylinder. Paste the sides together.
